TLC Bistro and Cafe is at 41 Maple Ave. just north of Dunlop St. and west of Bayfield in downtown Barrie.
TLC's menu is home-style comfort food, including potato pancakes, soups, salads and Montreal smoked meat on rye.
The walls are decorated with Neil Young memorabilia as well as local artists' work and there are Acoustic Open Mic nights usually on Thursdays where you might catch owner (and Neil Young tribute artist) Larry Christopher playing a few favourites.
